![]() Inorder to have a better picture of your financial stance and achieve your goals whether it be to buy a home, a car, or to finance your schooling whatever it may be, you need to do a budget, this is the only way to analyse your earnings, identify all your expenses and put away money towards your ultimate goal. Budgets are traditional, it usually give us a wake up call, as to our potential earning capabilities as well to identify our exorbitant spending habits and that almost unidentifiable expense that is cutting us dry slowly but surely - like that coffee you have every morning five times per week. Budgets gets us in the attitude to see the need to create alternatives to cut back, such as instead of coffee every morning why not try the lemon and water detox, not only is it warm on your stomach in the mornings but it’s super good for you and healthy. Then put that money towards the house you want to buy next year, remember “Every mickle make a muckle” a key point in cutting back on your spending is to ask your self do I need this or want it? It’s a personal technique of mine works all the time! You will be surprised of some of the things that you really don’t need and how much you could be saving, which makes you ten steps closer to your goal. Budgeting is a great tool to help us reach our financial goals, it’s simple to do just identify your sources of income, your expenses and do the maths. The key step that I highly recommend is to always analyse the wants and needs, make necessities priorities on your budget. Stay positive and remember it will only happen if you do what you have to do. |
